When you are sailing, everything changes, you find yourself there, small, you are just a dot in the middle of a massive extension of water, but there's something else: movement & life, the ocean is source of life, it's not just a floating way to get from point A to point B. At sea everything is in motion, there's a complex evolution in all aspects, biological, mineral, geological, interacting simultaneously.
I did whales & dolphins observation trips at the Atlantic Ocean. What I've seen there gave a lesson to understand better what life means. I remember watching the whales lying at the surface of the sea to be able to sleep, (let's not forget that they need to breath), I saw them how they manage to defend themselves when a whale was bringing a new born baby-whale to life and the blood that was spread atracted a couple of sharks.
Now I took the decision to settle down to create a home and a family. That's why I live in this little paradise surrounded by the sea...
